Congratulations Tobias Hill!!!

R-CCC’s Student of the Month – December 2012

 

The Office of Student Development Services is pleased to announce Tobias Hill as the Student of the Month for December. Tobias is well known at the College and in the community for his vocal and musical talents. He has sung at several R-CCC programs to include honors convocation and graduation. His performances receive a standing ovation.

Tobias’ extracurricular activities include participating in the College’s Minority Male Mentoring program and the Hertford County Early College High School choir. Outside of campus, he is very active at his church as a choir director, drummer, pianist, and soloist.  In addition, he volunteered this summer at Camp Creecy as a tutor to young students in math, science, and computers.

Mrs. Latoya Stephenson, R-CCC’s Early College High School Liaison nominated Tobias. She shared the following comments, “Tobias is a very hard working student with good grades in his high school classes, as well as, his college classes. What’s more, he is always willing to donate his time and talents to his school, college, and church. He is very well mannered and academically focused. I believe he is an excellent role model for his peers.”

Tobias resides in Hertford County.  He plans to graduate from the ECHS and R-CCC with an Associate in Arts degree in December, 2013.
