The North Carolina State Legislature has approved programs that allow high school students to take college courses and to receive high school credit and college credit at the same time. These programs, the Huskins and the Concurrent Enrollment Cooperative Programs, exist through partnerships between local high schools and local community colleges.

Roanoke-Chowan Community College has partnerships with Ahoskie Christian School, Hertford County High School, Northampton County High School-East, Northeast Academy, and Ridgecroft School. The courses offered under these programs allow students to complete certificate, diploma, and/or associate degrees at RCCC.
