Members of the Ahoskie Woman's Club attended docent training at Roanoke-Chowan Community College (R-CCC) on July 30 for the upcoming Americans and the Holocaust traveling exhibition, which opens at 9 a.m., Aug. 22 at the R-CCC Library. The woman’s club is partnering with the college to help welcome visitors and provide guidance during the exhibition, which runs from Aug. 22 through Sept. 25. Adult High School Consortium Celebrates First Graduates

Roanoke-Chowan Community College (R-CCC) celebrated the groundbreaking of the Lassiter-Gatling Fine Arts Building on July 8, marking the first new building construction on campus in approximately 36 years and honoring two longtime college leaders whose service helped shape the institution's future. The ceremony brought together college trustees, local elected officials, community leaders, faculty, staff and supporters to commemorate the beginning of construction on the facility, which will provide dedicated space for fine arts instruction and creative expression.
