R-CCC to Offer Career-Focused Classes in Rich Square
AHOSKIE, NC –
Roanoke-Chowan Community College (R-CCC) will offer career-enhancing classes at the Joe White Community Center in Rich Square beginning in October.
The lineup includes both day and evening sessions of Nurse Aide I, as well as two opportunities to complete the Notary Public certification.
- Nurse Aide I – Day Class begins Oct. 16 and ends Dec. 10. The course will be held from 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m., Tuesdays through Thursdays. This state-approved Nurse Aide I class prepares students for certification and employment in hospitals, long-term care and home health settings.
- Nurse Aide I – Evening Class begins Oct. 21 and ends Dec. 4. The course will be held from 5:30 – 9:30 p.m., Wednesdays and Thursdays.
- Notary Public Class will be offered on Oct. 1-2 from 5:30 – 9 p.m. and on Oct. 4 from 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. This one-day or two-evening class prepares students to take the state exam and start serving their communities as a commissioned Notary Public in North Carolina.
All classes are open to the public and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Early registration is encouraged.
