Roanoke-Chowan Community College (R-CCC) proudly offers a state-supported Customized Training Program designed to help local businesses and industries stay competitive, improve efficiency, and grow their workforce. Whether your company is investing in new equipment, implementing updated technologies, or expanding operations, our training programs are tailored to meet your goals while boosting productivity and profitability.
Is Your Business Eligible?
To qualify for the Customized Training Program, your organization must operate within eligible sectors, including:

- Advanced Manufacturing
- Technology-Intensive Industries (e.g., IT, Life Sciences)
- Regional or National Warehousing and Distribution
- Customer Support or Call Centers
- Air Courier and Logistics Services
- Multi-State Corporate Headquarters
- Civilian Technical Support for Military Installations in North Carolina
Businesses must meet at least two of the following criteria to be eligible for funding:
- Significant capital investment
- Deployment of new technology
- Creation of new jobs or workforce expansion
- Increased productivity or operational efficiency
- Need for workforce upskilling or retraining

- Efficiency Training Using Microsoft Office Applications
Training is designed around your operational schedule and can be delivered at your facility or on campus.
How the Process Works
- Consultation – Meet with our Workforce team to assess your training goals.
- Plan Development – We build a training plan tailored to your schedule, staff, and objectives.
- Approval & Delivery – After project approval by the NC Community College System, training begins—often conducted onsite to reduce employee downtime.
