Our Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Technology program prepares you with the skills and knowledge to start a career in the high-demand HVAC field—whether you’re fresh out of high school, changing careers, or looking to build on your current experience.

You'll learn the essentials of heating and cooling systems, including how they operate, how to safely work with electrical components, and how to troubleshoot and maintain equipment. The diploma program focuses on the practical side of HVAC, covering air conditioning units, furnaces, heat pumps, tools, and safety practices. When you finish, you’ll be ready to help with installing, servicing, and maintaining residential and light commercial systems.

Our Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree takes it a step further with in-depth topics like residential building codes, system sizing, and advanced comfort systems.
