R-CCC signs articulation agreements with NC A&T for Criminal Justice and Business Administration programs

(AHOSKIE) Roanoke-Chowan Community College has partnered with North Carolina A&T State University to sign articulation agreements for the Business Administration and Criminal Justice Technology programs. This agreement will provide R-CCC graduates of both programs to successfully transfer applicable credits from R-CCC to NC A&T, in preparation of each student obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Management – Business Administration, or Criminal Justice.

“Our Criminal Justice and Business Administration articulation agreements with NC A&T State University will provide a seamless pathway for our students to earn their four-year degrees from America’s number one public HBCU. We are appreciative of the confidence A&T has placed in our curriculum, faculty, and students,” states Dr. Jami Woods, Vice President for Instruction and Student Services. “Our message to all our students is that when they start at R-CCC, there is no limit to where they can go and what they can achieve.”

Dwayne Ponton, Division Director for Business Technologies, and Program Coordinator of the Criminal Justice Technology program adds, “What an exciting time to be at R-CCC! My Criminal Justice students and Business Administration students will now be afforded an opportunity to seamlessly continue their education beyond their A.A.S. and pursue their bachelor’s degree at NC A&T. I am looking forward to continued growth and expanded opportunities for my Criminal Justice students and all students here at R-CCC. More partnerships, and the expansion of growth in learning for the R-CCC Criminal Justice Technology Program are yet to come.”

“The articulation agreement between R-CCC and NC A&T demonstrates the academic rigor of the Roanoke-Chowan Community College business and criminal justice programs, and the pathway to complete the 4-year degree online is a great opportunity for our students”, John Cann, Program Coordinator for Business Administration concludes.
