Message from our SGA President

Hello R-CCC Students,

My name is Junious Hunter, however everyone calls me Lance. I am honored to serve as the President of SGA for the 2019-2020 academic year. This year will be my third semester as a college student at R-CCC. I am majoring in business and will be receiving my Associates Degree in Arts. I was born and raised in Hertford County with my parents who raised me to believe in myself with no fear and achieve anything in life that I put my mind to.

As President of the SGA, it is my duty to serve the student body by addressing your needs and any ideas or concerns. It is the SGA’s responsibility to keep students and the administration in a tight cohesive relationship, but we cannot do it without your help. The SGA is an organization run by the elected student body, to serve you. We, as the elected officers, must hear from you about your concerns, needs, and ideas to make the college a better place for students to achieve their educational goals. The college is depending on us to help make Roanoke-Chowan Community College a fun, exciting, experience.

SGA is free to any student who wants to join, get involved, and make a difference. I am so glad and proud to get this opportunity to serve as your Roanoke-Chowan Community College SGA President.

Yours Truly,

Junious Hunter
