New classes start at the Lewiston Woodville Educational Vitality Center

The R-CCC College and Career Readiness team is now offering basic skills, computer, and high school equivalency diploma (formerly GED) classes in Lewiston Woodville at the new Educational Vitality Center. The center recently opened as a community resource and education center and is a public-private partnership between the Bertie County Hive House and the town of Lewiston-Woodville.

Walton, Director, College and Career Readiness Program, are now serving students at the new center. Vivian Saunders (right), Executive Director of the Bertie County Hive House and the Lewiston Woodville Educational Vitality Center, welcomes a new student to the center. R-CCC plans to offer more classes at the center in the future including allied health (nurse aide) and truck driver training (CDL) as well as classes in public safety (EMS).
